Chasity S Norris, MA, LPC-MHSP, MPA is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider with over a decade of Inpatient and Outpatient psychiatric experience that enables her to offer effective individualized psychological care. She is trained and experienced in treating a number of mental health disorders and life stressors, and provides a safe, neutral space to individuals, families, and couples. Member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), TN Licensed Professional Counseling Association (TLPCA), National Board Certification through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), and is a Mandatory Prescreening Agent (MPA) for the State of Tennessee. 

She received a Master's Degree (MA) in Criminal Justice and Criminology , and a Master's Degree (MA) in Counseling from East Tennessee State University, as well as Graduate Certification in Forensic Document Examination and Epidemiology and Biostatistics.  Areas of continued study, research, development, and specialization include personality disorders and psychopathy, trauma and attachment, schema therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. 

The focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and move forward by  becoming aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Providing assessment, diagnostics, treatment, and coping skills for a wide variety of life's difficulties. These include depression, anxiety, relationship issues in couples and families, PTSD, abuse recovery, divorce recovery, attachment difficulties, self esteem issues, OCD, personality disorders, and stage of life transitions. 

Skilled in numerous therapeutic approaches and dynamics including CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Exposure Therapy, in order to offer the most individualized and focused treatments available for specific and  complex issues. This practice is an LGBTQ+ safe space and ally!
